NEW from Vortex is the Viper Shotgun Enclosed Micro Red Dot! Designed for turkey and wingshooting, this red dot features and enclosed optic housing and integrated mount for shotguns that are drilled and tapped.
Enclosed optic provides a robust level of protection in the field while giving hunters enough optic to see their target effectively.
Integrated mounting system for drilled and tapped shotguns means this is compatible with a huge number of the shotguns currently on the market, plus iit can be added to existing shotguns that aren’t already drilled and tapped.
The optic specs are what you should expect from a red dot these days. 6061 aluminum housing, parallax free, unlimited eye relief, side loading battery, 50,000-hour battery life, waterproof, fogproof, and shockproof. The reticle comes in two flavors; either a simple 3 MOA dot or a multi-reticle option with 3 MOA dot, 32 MOA circle, and 64 MA circle. These can be turned on or off depending on user preference with 7 different reticle options.

While red dots have proven popular with everyone else, shotgun hunters have been held back by the lack of good mounting options. If you’ve gotten to shoot a shotgun with a red dot, you’ll never look back. Not only is it faster, easier, and more precise, but it keeps you more aware of your surroundings as well.

The Viper gives a new and simple method of adding a red dot to most shotguns.
MSRP is $430 for the 3 MOA dot, $500 for Multi-Reticle. As always with Vortex, street prices will be much lower. EuroOptic has the multi-reticle model for $350.
